Description

The Panchroma™ PLA Aqua Blue from Polymaker brings fresh, vibrant colours to your 3D printing projects. This high-quality PLA filament in the practical 1.75 mm format impresses with its clear aqua blue shade and versatile Basic finish. The Panchroma™ series stands for an impressive colour variety and reliable printing properties.

As a biodegradable thermoplastic made from renewable resources, this PLA is particularly environmentally friendly and produces minimal odour during printing. With print speeds of up to 400 mm/s, it's excellent for rapid prototypes and detailed models. The high tensile strength and stable elastic modulus guarantee dimensionally accurate results for architectural models, decorative objects, and figurines. Thanks to compatibility with common multi-material systems, Aqua Blue combines perfectly with other Panchroma™ colours.

Applications

  • Prototyping and concept models
  • Decorative objects and vases
  • Figurines and collectible models
  • Architectural models and presentations
  • Cosplay props and accessories
  • Educational materials
  • Indoor replacement parts

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a printing temperature of 210–220 °C with a bed temperature of 50 °C. A heated bed is optional but improves first layer adhesion. If signs of moisture appear (hissing, bubbles), dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. PLA sands and paints easily when required. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

A heated bed is optional but improves first layer adhesion. We recommend 25–60 °C for best results.
Panchroma™ PLA Basic supports print speeds up to 400 mm/s. This is based on a 0.4 mm line width and 0.2 mm layer height.
PLA is not recommended for outdoor use as it's UV-sensitive and can soften above 50 °C. For outdoor parts, we recommend ASA or PETG.
Yes, Panchroma™ PLA is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.
Normally no drying is needed. For older spools or if you notice hissing and bubbles, we recommend drying at 55 °C for 6 hours.
