Recommendations

Start with a printing temperature of 210 °C and adjust as needed. A heated bed is optional but improves adhesion for larger objects. For optimal matte surfaces, we recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm. The filament typically requires no drying – if you hear hissing or see bubbles, dry it at 55 °C for 6 hours. The matte surface can be further refined with fine sandpaper. This filament is fully MMS compatible and works seamlessly with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU for multi-colour projects.

FAQ

The matte surface of Panchroma™ PLA minimises light reflections and conceals layer lines as well as minor print imperfections. The result is professional-looking, homogeneous prints without distracting shiny spots.
A heated bed is optional but recommended. For smaller objects you can print without one, but for larger parts a temperature of 25–60 °C significantly improves adhesion and prevents warping.
Yes, Panchroma™ PLA Matte is fully MMS compatible. It works seamlessly with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU for multi-colour or multi-material prints.
Normally no drying is required. However, if you notice hissing, bubbles, or a rough surface, dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. This may be necessary for older or improperly stored spools.
Polymaker recommends PolySupport™ for easily removable supports or PolyDissolve™ S1 for water-soluble supports when printing complex geometries. Both materials are optimally matched to Panchroma™ PLA.
