Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a printing temperature in the middle range of the manufacturer's specifications. A heated bed improves adhesion but is not mandatory. To best showcase the metallic sheen, set the layer height to 0.2 mm or finer. Light polishing can further enhance the metal effect. This filament is fully MMS-compatible and works flawlessly with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

A heated bed is optional but improves adhesion. The recommended range is 25–60 °C. Without a heated bed, you can still achieve good results using an adhesive like glue stick.
For optimal metallic effect, we recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm or finer. After printing, you can lightly polish the surface with a soft cloth to enhance the shine.
PLA is generally not recommended for permanent outdoor use as it is UV-sensitive and can soften at higher temperatures. It is ideal for decorative indoor objects.
Yes, the Panchroma™ PLA Metallic Gold is fully MMS-compatible. It works flawlessly with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU for multi-colour prints.
PLA is less moisture-sensitive than other materials. For new spools, drying is usually not necessary. For older spools or symptoms like hissing, we recommend 55 °C for 6 hours.
