Description

The Panchroma™ PLA Orange from Polymaker brings vibrant color to your 3D printing projects. This premium filament in 1.75 mm format impresses with its classic Basic finish and striking orange hue, perfect for decorative objects and prototypes alike. Thanks to its optimized formulation, this PLA prints reliably on all common FDM printers and achieves impressive speeds of up to 400 mm/s. Low odor emission makes working pleasant even in enclosed spaces. The material is ideal for concept models, figurines, architectural models, and educational materials. With a tensile strength exceeding 51 MPa, it offers solid mechanical properties for functional prototypes. The 1 kg spool provides ample material for numerous projects.

Applications

  • Prototypes and concept models
  • Decorative objects and vases
  • Figurines and collectibles
  • Architectural models
  • Cosplay props and accessories
  • Educational materials
  • Indoor replacement parts

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a print temperature of 210–220 °C and a heated bed at 50 °C. A brim improves adhesion for larger models. Post-processing is straightforward: sanding, priming, and painting work perfectly. If needed, the filament can be dried at 55 °C for 6 hours. The Panchroma™ PLA Orange is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Yes, PLA is the ideal starter material. It prints reliably without a heated chamber, produces minimal odor, and forgives small setting errors. Polymaker's optimized formula makes getting started particularly easy.
Yes, the Panchroma™ PLA Orange is fully compatible with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. The consistent diameter tolerance ensures reliable material changes.
The filament supports speeds up to 400 mm/s. For optimal surface quality, we recommend 150–250 mm/s. Higher speeds can be used for rapid prototypes.
For new spools, drying is usually not necessary. If the filament has been stored open for a long time or shows symptoms like hissing and bubbles, drying at 55 °C for 6 hours is recommended.
PLA is not suitable for permanent outdoor use as UV radiation and weather conditions degrade the material. For indoor applications, decoration, and prototypes, however, it is perfect.
