Recommendations

For optimal results with the matte finish, we recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm with part cooling enabled. A heated bed is optional but improves adhesion for larger objects. The matte finish excellently conceals layer lines, often eliminating the need for post-processing. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU for multi-colour printing projects.

FAQ

The Matte finish absorbs light evenly and creates a velvety surface without shine or reflections. This makes layer lines less visible and gives prints a refined, understated look.
PLA is generally not designed for permanent outdoor use. UV radiation and temperatures above 50 °C can damage the material. However, it is ideal for indoor decoration and prototyping.
Refill means the filament is supplied without a plastic spool – you wind it onto a reusable master spool. This saves plastic and protects the environment.
Yes, the Panchroma™ PLA Matte is fully compatible with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. Multi-colour prints are therefore easily achievable.
Fresh PLA normally does not require drying. For older spools or if you notice hissing and bubble formation, drying at 55 °C for 6 hours is recommended.
