Recommendations

For optimal results, print at 210–230 °C to maximise the silk effect. A heated bed at 50 °C improves adhesion. Avoid excessive cooling which may reduce the glossy finish.

This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU – perfect for multi-colour projects with glossy accents.

FAQ

Silk PLA contains special additives that create a shiny, silky effect during printing. The surface appears more elegant and luxurious than standard PLA, without requiring any post-processing.
This filament can print at up to 300 mm/s. For optimal surface quality and maximum shine effect, we recommend moderate speeds between 60–150 mm/s.
Yes, the Panchroma™ Silk Dark Blue is fully compatible with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU. Perfect for multi-colour projects with glossy accents.
For new spools, drying is usually not necessary. If the filament has been stored open or you notice hissing and bubbles during printing, dry it at 55 °C for 6 hours as recommended by the manufacturer.
