Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a printing temperature in the upper range of 210–230 °C to fully bring out the silky sheen. A heated bed improves adhesion but is not mandatory. After printing, Silk surfaces can be gently polished with a soft cloth to enhance the luster. For older spools, drying at 55 °C for 6 hours is recommended. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

A heated bed is recommended but not mandatory. The recommended bed temperature is 25–60 °C. When printing without a heated bed, we recommend using a good adhesive like glue stick or 3D printing adhesive.
Yes, the Panchroma™ Silk Gold is fully compatible with common multi-material systems like Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. This allows you to create multicolor prints with Silk effect.
For optimal silky sheen, we recommend a printing temperature in the upper range of 210–230 °C. After printing, you can gently polish the surface with a soft, dry cloth to enhance the luster.
For new, originally packaged spools, drying is usually not necessary. For older spools or signs of moisture (hissing, bubbles), we recommend drying at 55 °C for 6 hours.
