Description

Polymaker™ HT-PLA White in 1.75 mm format revolutionises 3D printing with heat-resistant PLA. This innovative filament in classic white maintains its shape at temperatures up to 150 °C without mandatory post-processing. After optional annealing, the material achieves exceptional heat deflection resistance, far surpassing conventional PLA. Ease of printing remains fully intact: no heated enclosure required, minimal odour, and excellent detail accuracy. This white HT-PLA is perfect for technical components exposed to heat and functional prototypes with thermal requirements. Thanks to multi-material system compatibility, you can create complex multi-colour projects. Polymaker sets new standards for heat-resistant 3D printing with this groundbreaking material.

Applications

  • Technical housings and covers
  • Components for warm environments
  • Functional prototypes with thermal requirements
  • Electronic mounts and fixtures
  • Automotive interior parts
  • Kitchen accessories and appliance components
  • Industrial jigs and fixtures

Recommendations

Print on PC or textured PEI surface for optimal adhesion. For maximum heat resistance, anneal at 80–90 °C for 30 minutes – expect shrinkage of approximately 0.5–0.9 %. Dry the filament if needed at 60 °C for 6 hours. This material is fully compatible with popular multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

For maximum heat deflection resistance, you need to anneal the printed part at 80–90 °C for 30 minutes. Without annealing, heat resistance is approximately 60 °C. Note that shrinkage of 0.5–0.9 % may occur during annealing.
Yes, absolutely. HT-PLA prints just as easily as conventional PLA. You don't need a heated enclosure or special equipment. Recommended nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C, bed: 25–60 °C.
Yes, the filament is fully compatible with all common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. You can easily create multi-colour or multi-material prints.
HT-PLA supports high-speed printing up to 300 mm/s. This enables fast production times while maintaining consistent quality. For best results, we recommend a retraction distance of 1–3 mm.
For fresh spools, drying is usually not necessary. For older spools or if you notice hissing and bubbling, we recommend drying at 60 °C for 6 hours. Store filament dry for optimal results.
