Description

Polymaker™ PETG in Dark Blue is a high-performance filament in the standard 1.75 mm format, delivering the perfect balance between print-friendliness and mechanical durability. This premium PETG filament impresses with its elegant dark blue shade and is ideally suited for demanding projects. Thanks to its optimised high-flow formulation, it enables rapid extrusion speeds while maintaining a clean surface finish. PETG represents the sweet spot between PLA and ABS – combining easy handling with superior impact resistance and chemical stability. The low odour emission makes printing pleasant even in enclosed spaces. Perfect for functional parts, electronics enclosures and mechanical assemblies subjected to everyday stress.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronics housings and controller cases
  • Tools and assembly jigs
  • RC parts and drone components
  • Transparent covers and sight glasses
  • Prototypes for load testing

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC or textured PEI print surface. The cooling fan should be set between 20–60%. As PETG is moisture-sensitive, storage in a PolyBox™ or drying at 55 °C for 6 hours before printing is advisable. A heated enclosure is not required. The filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Polymaker recommends a nozzle temperature of 240–260 °C and a bed temperature of 60–70 °C. For optimal adhesion, a PC or textured PEI surface is particularly suitable.
Yes, PETG is moisture-sensitive. Polymaker recommends drying at 55 °C for 6 hours. Ideally, the filament should be stored in a PolyBox™ or similar dry storage system.
Yes, thanks to its high-flow formulation, Polymaker PETG supports print speeds of up to 300 mm/s. This enables significantly shorter print times while maintaining good surface quality.
Yes, the filament is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.
PETG excels for functional parts, electronics enclosures, tools and mechanical assemblies. It offers superior impact resistance compared to PLA and better chemical stability, especially against oils and greases.
