Description

The Polymaker™ PETG Green in the practical 1.75 mm format combines durability with excellent printability. This high-flow filament in vibrant green was engineered for improved all-around performance, enabling faster extrusion with a cleaner surface finish. The golden middle ground between PLA and ABS – PETG offers higher impact resistance and better chemical resistance than PLA, without the warping issues of ABS. With temperature resistance up to approximately 80 °C, this material is ideal for functional parts and mechanical assemblies. Low odor emission makes printing pleasant, while excellent adhesion on PC and textured PEI surfaces ensures reliable results. From electronics enclosures to tools, fixtures, and drone frames – Polymaker™ PETG masters demanding projects with ease.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronics enclosures and housings
  • Tools and manufacturing fixtures
  • RC parts and drone frames
  • Transparent and translucent components
  • Prototypes for stress testing

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC or textured PEI print surface. Part cooling should be set between 20–60%. If moisture absorption occurs, dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. No enclosure is required. PETG is harder to sand than PLA – plan accordingly for post-processing. The filament is compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

The recommended nozzle temperature is between 240–260 °C. The heated bed should be set to 60–70 °C. With proper calibration, you'll achieve a clean surface finish.
No, an enclosure is not required. PETG warps significantly less than ABS and can be printed without issues in open print spaces.
Dry the filament at 55 °C for at least 6 hours. Polymaker recommends using a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™ Box for optimal results and storage.
Yes, PETG is ideal for functional parts. With a tensile strength of approximately 52 MPa and good impact resistance, it's perfect for mechanical assemblies, housings, and fixtures.
Yes, Polymaker PETG is compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU, enabling multi-color prints.
