Description

The Polymaker™ PETG Grey is a high-performance filament in the 1.75 mm format, offering the perfect balance between ease of use and mechanical durability. The neutral grey tone is ideal for technical components and professional prototypes where functionality takes priority. Thanks to its optimized High-Flow design, this PETG enables faster extrusion speeds while maintaining impeccable surface quality. The low odor emission during printing makes it ideal for use in office environments or at home. With its excellent impact resistance and chemical resistance, this material is perfect for functional parts, electronics enclosures, and mechanical components. The low warping tendency ensures dimensionally stable prints even for larger objects.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronics enclosures and housings
  • Tools and manufacturing fixtures
  • Technical prototypes
  • RC parts and drone frames
  • Brackets and mounting elements

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC print plate or textured PEI. Enable the cooling fan at 20–60% for better overhangs. Before printing, dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. Using a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™ is recommended to prevent moisture absorption. PETG can be drilled and screwed after printing. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Polymaker recommends PC plates or textured PEI for optimal adhesion. At a bed temperature of 60–70 °C, prints release easily after cooling.
Yes, PETG is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture. Dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. For best results, storage in a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™ is recommended.
The heat deflection temperature is 65–69 °C depending on the load. The glass transition temperature is approximately 71 °C. For applications above 80 °C, consider more heat-resistant materials.
Yes, the Polymaker PETG Grey is fully compatible with common multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.
For permanent outdoor applications with UV exposure, we recommend ASA. Parts exposed to temperatures above 80 °C or objects requiring intensive sanding are also less suitable.
