Description

Polymaker™ PETG in vibrant magenta delivers the perfect balance between printability and mechanical durability. This 1.75 mm filament features high flow characteristics, enabling faster extrusion speeds while maintaining a clean surface finish. PETG combines the best qualities of PLA and ABS: more robust and impact-resistant than PLA, with higher temperature resistance and minimal warping during printing. The intense magenta colour is ideal for striking functional parts, electronic enclosures, and mechanical assemblies. Thanks to its low odour emission, this material is perfectly suited for use in enclosed spaces. Its excellent chemical resistance makes it the ideal choice for technical applications and durable prototypes.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Enclosures for electronics and controls
  • Tools and fixtures
  • RC parts and drone components
  • Prototypes for stress testing
  • Decorative objects with high stability

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC or textured PEI build plate. The part cooling fan should be set to 20–60%. An enclosed chamber is not required. For extended storage, dry at 55 °C for 6 hours or store in a PolyBox™. Sanding PETG is limited – work with optimised print parameters for best surface quality. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

No, an enclosed chamber is not required. PETG naturally exhibits low warping tendency and can be printed without issues on open-frame printers.
Polymaker recommends PC or textured PEI build plates. These provide optimal adhesion during printing and allow easy part removal once cooled.
Yes, Polymaker PETG is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. The consistent filament quality ensures reliable material changes.
PETG is moisture-sensitive and absorbs approximately 0.5% water. Store the filament in a dry environment or in a PolyBox™. If needed, dry it at 55 °C for 6 hours.
Absolutely. With a Charpy impact strength of over 20 kJ/m² and tensile strength of approximately 48 MPa, this material is excellent for functional parts, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies.
