Description

Polymaker™ PETG in Silver combines industrial performance with modern aesthetics. This high-flow filament in 1.75 mm format has been engineered for reliable prototyping and robust end-use parts. The silver colour gives your prints a technical, contemporary look that's perfect for enclosures, tools and functional components. Thanks to optimised flow properties, you achieve clean surfaces at speeds up to 300 mm/s. PETG represents the sweet spot between PLA and ABS: more impact-resistant than PLA, with minimal warping and virtually no odour during printing. Its good chemical resistance and thermal stability up to approximately 80 °C make this material the first choice for mechanically stressed parts. Multi-material system compatibility opens up creative multi-colour projects.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Enclosures for electronics and technical devices
  • Tools, jigs and assembly aids
  • RC parts and drone frames
  • Transparent and translucent sight glasses
  • Prototypes with high mechanical loads

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC or textured PEI print surface. Set the part cooling fan to 20–60 % and print without an enclosed chamber. Since PETG is moisture-sensitive, store the filament dry or use a PolyBox™. Dry at 55 °C for 6 hours before printing. Post-processing is best done by fine sanding or chemical smoothing. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

The recommended print temperature is 240–260 °C. For optimal results, use a heated bed at 60–70 °C with a PC or textured PEI surface.
PETG is moisture-sensitive. We recommend drying the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours and storing it in a dry environment or PolyBox.
Yes, this filament is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.
PETG is excellent for functional parts, electronic enclosures, tools and mechanically stressed prototypes. It offers higher impact resistance than PLA with good chemical resistance.
Polymaker PETG Silver supports print speeds up to 300 mm/s. The high-flow properties ensure clean surfaces even at high speeds.
