Description

Polymaker™ PETG in Teal combines the advantages of PLA and ABS into a versatile all-rounder in the practical 1.75 mm format. This cost-effective high-flow filament was engineered for improved overall performance, enabling faster extrusion with a cleaner surface finish. The teal variant is perfectly suited for functional parts that need to withstand mechanical stress. With a glass transition temperature above 71 °C, it offers significantly higher heat resistance than PLA. Low warping tendency makes it ideal for larger print projects such as electronics enclosures, tool holders, or RC components. Thanks to low odour emission, the material is pleasant to work with. Good chemical resistance makes it suitable for technical applications involving contact with oils and greases.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronics enclosures and controller housings
  • Tools, jigs and fixtures
  • RC parts and drone frames
  • Display covers and translucent panels
  • Prototypes for stress testing

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC build plate or textured PEI. Enable part cooling at 20–60 % for clean overhangs. An enclosed chamber is not required. Store the filament dry – if moisture is absorbed, dry at 55 °C for 6 hours before printing. Post-processing is best done by fine sanding or polishing for glossy surfaces. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

The recommended print temperature is 240–260 °C with a heated bed at 60–70 °C. A PC build plate or textured PEI provides the best adhesion.
PETG absorbs moisture from the air, which can cause printing issues. Dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours and ideally store it in a PolyBox or PolyDryer Box.
Yes, PETG offers significantly higher impact resistance than PLA. With a Charpy impact strength of over 20 kJ/m², it's excellent for functional parts, tools, and mechanical assemblies.
Yes, Polymaker PETG is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.
PETG has a glass transition temperature of 71 °C and a heat deflection temperature of 65–69 °C. It's suitable for applications up to approximately 65 °C continuous temperature.
