Description

Polymaker™ PETG White in the convenient 1.75 mm format combines durability with excellent printability. This high-flow filament in classic white enables faster extrusion while delivering clean surfaces with minimal odour. PETG represents the sweet spot between PLA and ABS – it offers higher impact resistance and better temperature tolerance than PLA whilst warping far less than ABS. Its chemical resistance makes it ideal for functional parts, enclosures and mechanical components. With heat deflection up to 65 °C, this material is perfect for durable prototypes and robust end-use parts. The white colour provides a neutral aesthetic for technical projects and can be easily painted if required.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Enclosures for electronics and controls
  • Tools, jigs and fixtures
  • RC parts and drone components
  • High-strength prototypes
  • Technical covers and housings

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a PC or textured PEI build plate. Enable the cooling fan at 20–60 % and avoid an enclosed chamber. If stringing occurs, slightly reduce temperature or increase retraction to 1–3 mm. Before printing, dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours – ideally use a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™. The surface can be easily sanded and painted. This filament is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

The recommended print temperature is 240–260 °C with a heated bed at 60–70 °C. For best results, start at 240 °C and adjust as needed.
Yes, PETG is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture. Dry the filament at 55 °C for 6 hours. Polymaker recommends using a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™ for optimal results.
Yes, this filament is fully compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.
Polymaker recommends PC plates or textured PEI surfaces. These provide good adhesion during printing and allow easy removal after cooling.
Thanks to its high-flow formulation, print speeds up to 300 mm/s are possible. For optimal surface quality, we recommend moderate speeds with 20–60 % cooling.
