Description

The Polymaker PolyDryer™ Box is a professional filament storage solution that reliably protects your 3D printing materials from moisture. This airtight box accommodates spools up to 205 mm in diameter and is compatible with all common filament diameters from 1.75 to 3.00 mm. The integrated hygrometer enables continuous monitoring of humidity levels inside the box. The included colour-changing silica gel desiccant indicates when regeneration is required by changing from orange to dark green. The box can optionally be combined with the separately available Dry Dock for active drying with up to 68W heating power. The 50 cm PTFE tube allows direct printing from the closed box, keeping your filament protected throughout the entire print job.

Recommendations

For optimal results, check the desiccant regularly and regenerate when the colour changes. Regeneration is easiest in an oven at 100–120 °C for 1–2 hours. Alternatively, the desiccant can be dried with the optional Dry Dock at power level 3 for approximately 8 hours. For particularly moisture-sensitive materials like PA or PVA, combining with the active Dry Dock is recommended for consistently low humidity.
