Description

The Polymaker PolyFlex™ TPU-95A in Teal is a premium flexible filament in 1.75 mm format, specifically engineered for desktop 3D printers. With a Shore hardness of 95A, this TPU material offers the perfect balance between flexibility and dimensional stability. It can stretch to over three times its original length while reliably returning to its initial shape.

The attractive Teal colour gives your flexible prints a modern, professional appearance. Thanks to excellent layer adhesion, you achieve robust, abrasion-resistant parts with outstanding shock absorption. Polymaker has optimised this filament for maximum printability – no clogging and clean, consistent results.

Applications

  • Protective cases for smartphones and electronics
  • Flexible gaskets and O-rings
  • Shock absorbers and vibration dampeners
  • Flexible hinges and joints
  • Tyres and wheels for RC models
  • Ergonomic grips and handles

Recommendations

For optimal results, use a direct drive extruder and reduced print speeds of 20–40 mm/s. Keep retraction at maximum 3 mm at 40 mm/s to prevent jams. PVA glue or Magigoo improves bed adhesion. Please note: TPU is not compatible with multi-material systems like AMS or CFS due to its flexibility.

FAQ

PolyFlex™ TPU-95A was specifically designed for desktop 3D printers. For best results, we recommend a direct drive extruder, as Bowden systems can cause issues with flexible materials.
Shore 95A corresponds roughly to the hardness of a shopping trolley wheel. The material is flexible enough for gaskets and protective cases while maintaining adequate dimensional stability.
Polymaker recommends 20–40 mm/s for optimal results. Slower speeds prevent jams and improve layer adhesion with this flexible material.
No, TPU materials are not suitable for multi-material systems like AMS, CFS or ACE due to their flexibility. Use TPU directly via the extruder.
TPU absorbs moisture. Store it in an airtight container with desiccant. If needed, dry the filament at 50–60 °C for 4–6 hours.
