This high-quality ASA filament features a deep black colour with a stunning Galaxy finish, creating a unique glittering effect with sparkling particles throughout. Outstanding UV resistance prevents fading even under intense sunlight, while excellent weather resistance enables a lifespan exceeding ten years outdoors. With a glass transition temperature of 97.8 °C and heat deflection above 100 °C, this material is ideal for heat-exposed components. The impressive impact strength of 10.5 kJ/m² ensures robust parts even at low temperatures. Compatible with multi-material systems like Bambu AMS or Prusa MMU for multi-colour projects.

Recommendations

For optimal results, print in a heated enclosure up to 90 °C and use BuildTak® with Magigoo as adhesion promoter. Turn off the cooling fan to prevent warping. For complex geometries, use PolyDissolve™ S2 as soluble support material. Dry the filament at 70–80 °C for 4–6 hours before printing. The surface can be smoothed with acetone. Compatible with all common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

ASA offers significantly higher UV resistance than ABS and won't fade even after years of outdoor exposure. It's weather-resistant and maintains its mechanical properties despite temperature fluctuations. Outdoor lifespan exceeds ten years.
The Galaxy finish contains fine sparkling particles that give the deep black a fascinating starry effect. This effect is particularly visible under light and gives your prints a unique, premium appearance.
A heated enclosure is recommended but not mandatory. Optimal ambient temperature ranges from room temperature to 90 °C. More important is a well-adhering print bed with BuildTak® and Magigoo, and turning off the cooling fan.
