Description

PolyLite™ PETG from Polymaker in Dark Grey combines balanced mechanical properties with straightforward printability. In the practical 1.75 mm format, this robust filament is ideal for technical applications where PLA reaches its limits. The subtle dark grey colour gives your prints a professional, industrial appearance.

PETG excels through its high impact resistance and chemical resistance to most organic solvents. With a glass transition temperature of 81 °C, it's suitable for functional parts exposed to moderate heat. The low warping tendency ensures reliable prints even for larger components. Thanks to minimal odour emission, this material is perfect for use in enclosed spaces.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Enclosures for electronics and controllers
  • Tools, fixtures and jigs
  • RC parts and drone components
  • Technical prototypes
  • Industrial replacement parts

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend printing on BuildTak® or glass with glue stick. The cooling fan should be set to 0–20% to maximise layer adhesion. Storage in the resealable bag or a PolyBox™ is recommended as PETG absorbs moisture. If needed, dry the filament at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours. This filament is compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Yes, PolyLite PETG is a beginner-friendly PETG with balanced printing properties. It warps less than ABS and prints more reliably than many other PETG variants. Using a glue stick on the print bed is important.
PETG absorbs moisture, which can affect print quality. Freshly opened spools don't need drying. After extended storage, we recommend drying for 4–6 hours at 60–65 °C.
Polymaker recommends BuildTak® or glass with glue stick. PETG adheres very strongly, so a release agent is important to protect the print bed and make part removal easier.
Yes, the filament is compatible with common multi-material systems like Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU. Polymaker recommends the water-soluble PolyDissolve™ S1 as support material.
Pure PETG is generally food safe. However, colorants and the porous structure of 3D prints can limit suitability. For direct food contact, parts should be additionally sealed.
