Description

Polymaker PolyLite™ PETG in Green offers the perfect balance between easy printing and impressive mechanical properties. Available in the practical 1.75 mm format, this filament is ideal for demanding projects where PLA reaches its limits. With a glass transition temperature of 81 °C and a Vicat softening temperature of 84 °C, it significantly outperforms standard PLA in heat resistance. The high light transmission of 90 % enables translucent print results. PETG excels with excellent impact resistance and chemical resistance to most organic solvents. The material shows minimal warping and produces very little odour during printing. It is particularly suited for functional parts, enclosures, tools and fixtures subject to mechanical stress.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronic enclosures and housings
  • Tools, brackets and fixtures
  • Translucent components and sight glasses
  • RC models and drone components
  • Food contact applications (pure PETG)

Recommendations

For optimal results, use BuildTak® or a glass plate with glue stick. The cooling fan should be set to maximum 20 % or turned off. Polymaker recommends storing in the resealable bag and using a PolyBox™ during printing as PETG absorbs moisture. Dry at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours before printing. This PolyLite™ PETG is compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Polymaker recommends a printing temperature of 230–240 °C. The heated bed should be set to 70–80 °C. The cooling fan should run at maximum 20 % or be turned off.
Pure PETG is generally food safe. However, printing conditions and surface structure must also be considered for actual food contact applications. If in doubt, we recommend an appropriate coating.
PETG absorbs moisture from the air, which can affect print quality. Polymaker recommends drying at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours and using a PolyBox™ during printing.
Polymaker recommends PolyDissolve™ S1 as a water-soluble support material. It dissolves easily in water after printing and leaves clean surfaces.
Yes, the filament is compatible with common multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.
