Description

The PolyLite™ PETG from Polymaker is a versatile filament in the 1.75 mm format that offers the perfect balance between ease of printing and mechanical durability. In classic white, this PETG presents itself as the ideal choice for functional parts and technical applications. With a glass transition temperature of 81 °C and a Vicat softening temperature of 84 °C, it is perfectly suited for parts that need to withstand higher thermal demands. The excellent impact resistance and low warping tendency make this material the golden middle ground between PLA and ABS. Thanks to its resistance to most organic solvents, it is perfect for enclosures, tools and mechanical components. The high light transmission of 90 % also enables translucent effects at appropriate wall thicknesses.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Enclosures for electronics and controllers
  • Tools and mounting fixtures
  • Sight glasses and translucent covers
  • RC parts and drone components
  • Prototypes with increased durability

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend using a BuildTak® surface or glass plate with glue stick. The cooling fan should be set to 0–20 % to maximise layer adhesion. Storage in the resealable original packaging or a PolyBox™ is strongly recommended as PETG is hygroscopic. If moisture has been absorbed, dry the filament at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours. This filament is compatible with multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

The optimal printing temperature is between 230 and 240 °C. The bed temperature should be set to 70–80 °C. The cooling fan should be reduced to 0–20 % for best layer adhesion.
Yes, PETG is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air. We recommend storage in the resealable packaging or a PolyBox™. If needed, dry the filament at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours.
Polymaker recommends BuildTak® or a glass plate with glue stick. These surfaces provide optimal adhesion during printing and allow easy removal of the finished object.
Yes, with 90 % light transmission, this PETG is excellent for translucent applications such as sight glasses or covers. Thin wall thicknesses enhance the effect.
Yes, PolyLite™ PETG is compatible with all common multi-material systems such as Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU. For soluble supports, we recommend PolyDissolve™ S1.
