Description

Polymaker PolyLite™ PETG in vibrant yellow combines balanced mechanical properties with straightforward printability. In the practical 1.75 mm format, this PETG filament is perfect for demanding functional parts requiring more robustness than PLA. With a glass transition temperature of 81 °C and a Vicat softening temperature of 84 °C, the material offers solid heat resistance for technical applications. Its high impact strength makes it the first choice for mechanically stressed assemblies, electronics enclosures, and tooling fixtures. Thanks to minimal warping tendency, even larger print objects succeed reliably. The 90 % light transmission also enables translucent effects. Polymaker recommends using the PolyBox™ during printing and storing in the resealable bag for optimal results.

Applications

  • Functional parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Electronics enclosures and housings
  • Tools, jigs, and fixtures
  • RC modeling and drone components
  • Translucent covers and sight glasses
  • High-strength prototypes

Recommendations

For best results, use BuildTak® or glass with glue stick as build surface. Keep the cooling fan at maximum 20 % or turn it off completely. For retraction, 1 mm at 20 mm/s works well. Dry PETG at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours before printing. Compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

Polymaker recommends a print temperature of 230–240 °C with a bed temperature of 70–80 °C. The cooling fan should be off or set to maximum 20 %.
Yes, the filament is compatible with common multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU. Storage in the PolyBox™ is recommended for optimal results.
Polymaker recommends PolyDissolve™ S1 as a dissolvable support material. It dissolves in water after printing, enabling complex geometries without visible support structures.
Yes, PETG is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture. For best results, dry the filament at 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours and store it in the resealable bag.
The material has a glass transition temperature of 81 °C and a Vicat softening temperature of 84 °C, making it suitable for applications up to approximately 80 °C continuous temperature.
