Description

The Polymaker PolyTerra™ PLA Candy is an eco-friendly filament in the practical 1.75 mm format, engineered for reliable and high-quality prints. The playful Candy colour gives your projects a cheerful, eye-catching appearance, perfect for decorative objects and creative designs.

Based on bioplastic, PolyTerra™ PLA stands out for its ease of use – ideal for beginners and experienced makers alike. The material produces minimal odour during printing and doesn't necessarily require a heated bed. Its high detail accuracy makes it perfect for figurines, architectural models, cosplay props, and prototypes.

As an environmentally conscious product, Polymaker uses sustainable packaging and reduced-plastic spools. Compatible with all common FDM printers and multi-material systems like Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, and Prusa MMU.

Applications

  • Decorative objects and vases
  • Figurines and collectibles
  • Prototypes and concept models
  • Architectural models
  • Cosplay accessories and props
  • Educational materials
  • Indoor replacement parts

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a nozzle temperature between 190 and 230 °C. A heated bed is optional but improves adhesion at 25–60 °C. Use BuildTak, glass, or blue tape as your print surface, with glue stick or Magigoo if needed.

Post-processing PolyTerra™ PLA is straightforward: sanding, priming, and painting all work excellently. If experiencing moisture issues (hissing, bubbles), dry the filament at 40–50 °C for 4–6 hours.

This filament is fully MMS-compatible and works seamlessly with Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU for multi-colour prints.

FAQ

A heated bed is optional but recommended for better adhesion. If you use one, set it to 25–60 °C. Many users print successfully without a heated bed on BuildTak or with a glue stick.
The recommended printing temperature is between 190 and 230 °C. Ideally start at 200 °C and adjust as needed. Higher temperatures can improve layer adhesion.
No, PLA is not UV-resistant and has a low heat deflection temperature of about 52 °C. For outdoor applications or parts exposed to heat, we recommend PETG or ASA.
Yes, PolyTerra™ PLA is fully compatible with all common multi-material systems like Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE, and Prusa MMU for multi-colour prints.
Normally no drying is required. If you notice symptoms like hissing or bubbles during printing, dry the filament at 40–50 °C for 4–6 hours in a filament dryer.
