Description

Polymaker PolyTerra™ PLA in the warm Peanut colour combines eco-conscious printing with exceptional quality. This bioplastic filament in 1.75 mm format was designed from the ground up to define the next generation of PLA. The earthy Peanut tone with matte finish gives your prints a natural, elegant look without distracting reflections.

PolyTerra™ PLA excels through ease of use, making it ideal for beginners. The material produces minimal odour during printing and doesn't necessarily require a heated bed. The matte surface conceals layer lines and gives objects a premium appearance. Perfect for decorative items, architectural models, figurines or prototypes where natural tones are desired.

Applications

  • Decorative objects and vases with natural look
  • Architectural models and landscape design
  • Figurines and character models
  • Prototypes and concept models
  • Educational and demonstration materials
  • Cosplay props with organic appearance

Recommendations

For optimal results, we recommend a nozzle temperature of 200 °C and a bed at 60 °C. BuildTak, glass or blue tape work excellently as print surfaces – treat with glue stick or Magigoo if needed. Cooling should be enabled. For overhangs exceeding 60°, use PolySupport™ or PolyDissolve™ S1 as support material. PolyTerra™ PLA is fully compatible with multi-material systems including Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU.

FAQ

A heated bed is optional but recommended. The material prints optimally at bed temperatures of 25–60 °C. For best adhesion, we recommend 60 °C together with BuildTak, glass or blue tape.
The recommended temperature range is 190–230 °C. For optimal results, we recommend 200 °C as a starting point, then adjust in 5 °C increments if needed.
Yes, the filament is fully compatible with common multi-material systems like Bambu AMS, Creality CFS, Anycubic ACE and Prusa MMU. It can be easily combined with other PLA colours.
The matte finish of PolyTerra™ PLA conceals layer lines much better than glossy filaments. This makes prints appear more premium and require less post-processing.
The warm, earthy Peanut tone is excellent for nature scenes, architectural models, organic-looking decorative objects and figurines. It harmonises particularly well with wood and earth tones.
